About Us

Healing Life Health Center has a population of children and adolescents ages 4 to 20 with emotional and behavioral needs and an adult population ages 21 to 99+ with severe mental health needs meeting the admission criteria set forth by Bayou Health.

Healing Life Health Center does not discriminate based on color, creed, religion, nationality, race, or gender. However, this program primarily services consumers with mental health issues, but the consumer can be previously diagnosed with other health impairments. Criteria for admission are set forth by the State of Louisiana and Health Plans.

Screenings for the mental health program are completed during posted business hours and upon request after hours. Home visits are available upon request. Screening can be scheduled by calling Healing Life Health Center at (318) 323-1560 and speaking with an agency representative. We anticipate your call for a screening.

Individuals seeking services with Healing Life Health Center must possess a valid medical card issued by the state of Louisiana from one of the five health plans. Payment resources also include private insurance and cash. See the examples below.
